Went for an extra walk this afternoon since the weather was pleasantly cool. Two males wearing hoodies over their heads were tugging on every door of an SUV parked in a driveway of a house in the 5500 block of XX street around 2:25 P.M. today. Called the Lubbock Police Department non-emergency number and advised the call taker of the actual address and what I observed. Didn't take too long for three patrol vehicles to show up and scare the bejesus out of the two. 
Turns out the kids live there and a dog was locked inside the vehicle. 
I hope one of the police officers advised the morons that the next time they try and break into a vehicle that they don't cover their heads like a lot of the criminals do. 
I'd also suggest they keep a spare key in a pants pocket like I do . . . not that I have ever had to use it before. 
An idiot was jogging all over the place wearing a face mask pushing a baby carriage while I was out on my extra walk.
It'll be a cold day in Hades before I wear a mask. So don't go there, Mayor Pope.
