The time period just before and after 2 A.M. in Lubbock is such a noteworthy time to die.
Around 2 A.M. on Saturday, April 4, 2020, out of a group of four people encountering flying lead, two assume ground temperature and two take up space in a hospital probably at taxpayer expense. Did these people forget they're supposed to stay at least six feet apart? Now two of them will be six feet under. Oh, well.
Around 2 A.M. on Sunday, April 5, 2020, a driver driving something runs over a pedestrian. Wonder if a drunk driver in a pickup or SUV ran over a drunk pedestrian? Probably won't ever know, but that situation happens often enough in Lubbock.
