Some fools at the Lubbock Police Department are telling the non-believing public that the crime rate is going down. Here's a fact for you fools: A whole bunch of people don't even bother calling to report crime anymore. They know there is darn near nothing that will happen to the criminals even if caught. And if they're caught, our useless female District Attorney Sunny something-or-the-other will plea bargain the crime down to jaywalking with time off for good behavior for two days.
I checked my surveillance cameras from 4:00 A.M. to 6:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 30, 2020. Three times between 5:00 A.M and 5:30 A.M., the same SUV drove west to east down the street I reside on. At 5:32 A.M., two thieves were walking, each on a different side of the street, in the same direction the SUV had followed. The thieves were checking vehicle door handles. A resident just out of view of my cameras had a vehicle broken into. That resident apparently didn't file a police report since nothing is showing up online. Maybe someone knows and has an answer to my question: Why would one of the thieves be wearing a white tennis shoe on his right foot and a dark-colored tennis shoe on his left foot? Is that some new gang thing?
