James Farentino.
I remember him in the old days, the 1960s (just yesterday it seems), when he was young, sexy and energetic.
Was thinking about "The Bold Ones" TV show from the late 60s early 70s just the other day.
Farentino was one of several fine Italian American actors such as Joseph Campanella (also on The Bold Ones), Tony Franciosa, Ben Gazarra, Frank Langella, John Cassavetes, and Tony Lobianco. They were the first generation of Italian-American actors who did not find it necessary to change their names to something more English-sounding.

do you take a bath in a full bathtub? i do not. i bathe in 3-4 inches of water; in a small bathtub you get in and it covers enough of your body. saves water and happens to be safer too in case you pass out.
so who is to blame? water-waster whitney or bathtub makers who build tubs for 350 pound americans, tubs that let you slip under and drown? or the 'retinue' that allowed Whitney to soak in a full tub in a less than competent state?

Sure it's a no-brainer that you don't let someone who is drugged or drunk soak in a tub of water. No more than you let a drunk smoker go to bed smoking or with lighter and cigs on the nitestand. There probably was negligence here. But on the other hand, there almost always is if you look hard enough.
