Anybody read the Sunday AJ about Leach getting a new head lawyer?
What I found odd was where Leach sent a settlement offer over to TTU. Did Leach's former lead counsel get het up over that and quit? Did Leach fire him?
And when Leach's lead counsel asked whether TTU had received a letter from Leach, he says Dicky Grigg told him no.
Then we have Grigg telling the AJ reporter that it was unethical for Leach to send a letter directly to TTU instead of to TTU's lawyers? Which is crazy because Leach is the client not the lawyer and parties to a lawsuit are not bound by the ethical rules that lawyers are. Why would Grigg say that? He is TTU counsel; doesn't he have legal training?
