SGK vs. PP

Story line: Susan G. Komen cuts off funding to Planned Parenthood for breast cancer screenings, first, citing a congressional "investigation", then changing the citation to a "change in policy". PP loses 600K but picks up 3M in donations. SGK gets enough flak, and, I assume, is threatened with enough lost revenue, to back down and reinstate the funding to PP.

Score: PP +3M, SGK +lots of hard feelings and bad publicity.

Then, because the GOTP is against women's rights, including abortion, the presidential candidates come out bemoaning the re-funding of PP by SGK (the SGK has GOTP connections, especially at the "top" end).

Called to mind an old thread from another life entitled, "Is the GOTP Making Obama Look Better" or something like that.

The GOTP and its affiliates seem to be intent on alienating as many voters as possible. They seem to be pretty successful.

Go GOTP!!!

Unless they can somehow stop the economic improvement, and, as long as they keep getting distracted by the Social Conservative Agenda, Obama is looking like a shoo in.

I love you GOTP, and I encourage you to be open and honest in your exclusionary messages.

This is just the sort of events the GOP needs to rally the base.

Seeing the left wing mainstream media turn on a group making a legal decision that they felt was right for them and Parrott the DNC and libtard line- furthers shows what we are up against. The media fawned over obummer 3 years ago and saw to it that he was elected and will pull out all the stops again. reminders like this are priceless...

Keep thinking it was all the left wing media, and that the popular reaction of folks who also vote will help the GOTP win the Whitehouse if it makes you feel better.

Just one of the online petitions was signed by 300K people. Add that to the 3 million in donations, and it's a pretty loud statement.

Oh yeah. You don't believe that protests should occur unless their TP protests.
